Activated Sludge (ASI)

Our communities present many challenges to the wastewater industry. We need to be constantly on the lookout for practical ways to improve wastewater treatment processes, eliminate environmental consequences, maximize water re-use and minimize energy consumption.

The team at ASI has wide expertise and experience in activated sludge technology. We have a strong environmental engineering and science background as well as experience in activated sludge process development, operations and troubleshooting. Members of the team at ASI also have interests and expertise in other areas including software development, wastewater process modelling and on-line education and training.

As we have said, our main objective is to inform and update. We will bring you news and tips on activated sludge technology, and practical information on plant design, operations and training. We will also present articles on topical issues, analyses of cutting edge technologies.

We really believe that there is a need to reframe some of those "too hard basket" topics in a readable and practical way to make these technologies available. We monitor developments through a wide range of industry activities and publications, and we actively participate in the industry on-line forums to keep up with the topics that are concerning wastewater professionals. We are currently preparing a number of articles to address some of those issues.

We can utilize our network of contacts throughout the world to access expertise and practical experience on most topics, either written by us, or by colleagues a half a world away.
